Regina Tillery

Regina Tillery is the Director and Chief Information Officer at the Department of Business and Economic Development (DBED). In this capacity she is responsible for directing the Information Technology operations for the agency by developing a strategic plan that is consistent with the statewide IT Strategic Plan based on the business needs of the department. Regina works closely with Senior Management to ensure that a solid IT infrastructure has been established to support the department. She has over 23 years of management experience. She began her career in state service in 2000. Regina has been a member of the Mid-Atlantic CIO Forum since 2007.

Regina holds a bachelor’s degree from the College of Notre Dame. She graduated from the University of Maryland University College with a Masters in Information Technology. She is a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer. She is a member of the Board of Directors for the McDonogh Oaks Homeowner’s Association, eGov Executive Steering Committee for the State of Maryland and board member of the former Multicultural Development of Women in Technology organization. The common theme of my association with a number of these organizations is to enhance the awareness of information technology.
