Please plan to join the CIO members of the Mid-Atlantic CIO Forum on May 17. This is the last monthly meeting of the current Forum year. Following the tradition of the Forum, the May meeting is being hosted at a member site, namely, the international headquarters of McCormick & Co., Inc. in Hunt Valley, MD. The meeting is being hosted by Jerry Wolfe, CIO and Vice President of McCormick & Co., Inc. This meeting is a CIO Roundtable. McCormick & Company, Inc. is the global leader in the manufacture, marketing and distribution of spices, seasonings and flavors to the entire food industry. Drawing from McCormick's experiences in global supply chain management, supply chain execution and supplier relationship management, Mr. Wolfe has developed an exciting program which includes in-depth discussion of several of the most critical aspects of supply chain management, highlighting experiences and challenges in the use of technology and management and use of data in successful supply chain management. Mr. Wolfe has global responsibility for information technology and leads several supply chain process areas including global procurement, US logistics, customer fulfillment and demand and supply planning. He understands the challenges facing a CIO as well as those facing a supply chain executive in the development and execution of a global supply chain strategy. Mr. Wolfe will share his experience and vision of successful global supply chain strategy. He will examine the role of information technology as an enabler for strategy development. Since there are many aspects to consider in supply chain management, Mr. Wolfe has arranged for several other executives at McCormick & Company to join our roundtable and present their experiences and insights.
