On behalf of our CIO members, the Forum has planned a unique dinner meeting with the Maryland Technology Group. The Maryland Technology Group has provided panelists twice in the past for the Forum that were very well received. The Board of Directors thought that a special recognition of this group is in order as well as having another opportunity to dialogue with the group on timely topics. To this end, we planned a special dinner meeting event with them this year. To make the meeting even more interesting for all, we have asked the Maryland Technology Group to bring topics to discuss of their choosing.

This event is being held at McCormick and Schmick's restaurant in the Inner Harbor. It starts at 6:30. Please join your fellow CIO members and members of the Maryland Technology Group for an interesting evening - both social and informative. Bring some questions you would like to ask the tech group.

A couple things to note: for CIO members, this does not replace the usual monthly meeting in November. That meeting is on the next day - November 16 - and that announcement will follow this one shortly.

Also, note - the Maryland Technology Group is not formally associated with the Forum. The group does contain technology managers from some of our member companies and it contains others from companies whose CIO's are not members of the Forum. This affords CIO members of the Forum an opportunity hear from industry professionals with a greater variety of technical experiences and knowledge of more technological environments.
