If your organization is interested in having a Towson University student work directly within your organization for a 4 -10 day mentoring program? The Mid-Atlantic CIO Forum Mentoring Program is a unique opportunity for members of the Forum to offer students (undergraduate and graduate) a chance to shadow member CIO’s and their organization in a realistic work environment. The student is required to work directly with your organization a minimum of once a month for at least 4 months. Students will work within the organization on a project identified by the CIO. The structure (content and schedule) of the proposed program will be submitted by the company for students to review and apply. For example, a company may choose a once a month for 5 months while another company may choose two days a month for 3 months, etc. Depending on the company’s structure and areas/departments the program submitted to the Mid-Atlantic CIO Forum Executive-in-Residence will vary, but a minimum of 4 days in a semester (September – December) or (January – May) or (June – August) is required. You need only express your interest in participating in the Mid-Atlantic CIO Forum Mentoring Program, and discussing your ideas for prospective candidates, we will handle the rest! Based on your requirements, the Executive-in Residence and staff will work with Towson University to compile a qualified candidate pool and let you review their portfolios and make the final determination on which candidate(s) best fit your program plans. Towson University has several undergraduate programs in the Computer Science area, Management Information Systems, and multiple Business degree areas.
