Security Networking Group

The Security Networking Group (SNG) is a peer collaboration organization open to security leaders from the Mid-Atlantic CIO Forum membership.  The SNG itself determines topics of mutual and joint interests to discuss and pursues common solutions and resolutions for security related issues shared by the Mid-Atlantic CIO Forum membership.

The SNG operates according to its published policy on the Mid-Atlantic CIO Forum’s website (SNG Membership, Participation and Governance Policy). Per this policy, the SNG:

• meets after each Forum “Full membership” format meeting (typically two times annually).
• allows liberal participation of Forum members and their security officers and Admins
• proactively provides information and alerts on security issues that they may become aware of

The SNG maintains a list of active participants, issues announcements for their meetings and posts minutes from their meetings.
